How to Play Feudal Wars
Start out with a small army of knights and a castle (which shoots arrows). Knights automatically spawn from your castle - use your knights to capture more castles and spawn more knights. 
 
You also earn gold, a small amount for each castle over time, and a small amount for each enemy unit you kill.  
 
Use your gold to purchase buildings: walls, barracks, archery ranges, stables, watch towers and more castles. Archery ranges, for example, spawn archer units, which are good against infantry. Stables spawn cavalry, which are good against archers. 
 
Feudal Wars Strategy
The objective is too capture all castles to win, but castles also increase the size of your army. If you have 1 castle for example, your army can only be a maximum of 20 units. But with two castles, you can have an army of 40 units. That said, capturing castles is the quickest way to advance in the game. 
 
Learn which units counter which and build them appropriately. It is a rock-paper-scissors system. If your opponent is building nothing but cavalry (horse-back units which spawn from the stable), you'll want to build a lot of barracks, which produce polearm units that counter cavalry. 
 
Place watch towers behind walls for effective anti-archers. Archers only do a small amount of damage to buildings, so it's an effective counter. Cavalry also do very well against archers. 
 
Most buildings you place down have the option to upgrade (little blue icon with white arrow). When you upgrade a barracks for example, it produces a stronger polearm unit. You definitely want to upgrade when you are at maximum population (currently, 100). Sometimes fewer, stronger units are better than more weaker units. Be strategic about when and how much you upgrade. 
 
In the early game, you definitely want more units, so it's preferrable to not go for the upgrades but instead, more buildings (which produce more units).  
 
Feudal Wars Controls
* Drag-click over units to select units
 
* Right-click on the map to move units (while the units are selected)
 
* Right-click enemies to attack (while your units are selected)
 
* Hit tab to see the current players in the game and their statuses
 
* CTRL-A will select all available military units
 
* CTRL-# will set the current selected units to a control group. Then whenever you want to select that group again, you only need to hit the #. For example, you could put all your archer on CTRL-1 and select them again by hitting "1."
 
* Double-clicking a unit will select all units of that type in the camera.

Being a free for all game you’re better off trying to avoid bigger groups of fish as numbers do win fights in this world, start off by amassing a small group of soldier fish and try to take on a jellyfish to earn yourself a sweet bonus! Once you start to develop a reasonable sized squad aim to take out groups smaller than you to further boost your score and assert your dominance in the water.
Controls
Control your fish with the mouse, left click is used for attacking and right click is used for merging your smaller fish into larger ones. Bare in mind that once you have several fish following you the attack key with control them and not your main fish leaving you stood still and vulnerable!

Spread is very powerful from close range. Keep your weapon as a secret until you are close enough so you don't scare away the pray.
Frenzy is the ultimate farming weapon with highest DPS.
Homing is the skill weapon with lowest DPS but ability to shoot from angles where the opponent can't get you. You can kill even high level ghosts with this weapon with pure skill.

You get score for either collecting gems or killing other players with high score. A good tactic might be to run around looking for forgotten gem spawns. You could also conquer a room with lots of gems with your firends and prevent anyone from entering. Or you could run around killing other gnomes.
Throwing bombs can be tricky but mastering it gives you an edge in fights. With good timing you can throw a bomb and run after it without being damaged by it. This is a good skill when chasing other players.
The minimap can be useful when planning your strategy, or even in combat. Someone approaching you in the tunnel? Activate your bomb at the right time and you'll have the upper hand.

- If you become too big and fast for your own taste, just explode to get back to initial size and speed. 
- Since you are immune while blowing up, defend yourself by clicking and holding just enough to not actually explode - as you release you will regain control and deflate back into your size, having averted certain demise.
- When players explode they will temporarily spin out of control - take advantage of this and try to take them down while they are at their most vulnerable.
- Taking down bigger players yields more food :) It is also more dangerous as they are faster and explodier than smaller players :(
- Arena edges and corners are usually safer :) There is also less food there :(
- Playing with the red crab has been known to bring good luck. If you see it, use it :D
